Just like the Ancient Robot legendary dungeon, the Witch Queen's Catacomb also needs 40 stars for it to unlock. Lower Cursehills is home to the other dungeon Armanda has pointed out, the Witch Queen's Catacomb. Lower Cursehills is located to the east of the forest just beyond the teleporter, simply follow the pathway and you should be led straight to it. Wormroot Woods is also home to the Big Gnarly demi-dungeon. One is located just southeast of the save crystal near the middle of the forest, while the other one is just above the teleporter. This zone also features two fairies hiding in their own sides of the forest. The most important one, for now, would be the exit at the eastern side of the forest where the teleporter lies. Here's an incomplete map of the zone to show you where the exits are. However, it's not as complicated as it makes it out to be.
The Wormroot Woods presents itself as kind of a maze. Head west to unlock the fence while also swiping the chest that's there if you still haven't. Transform to the rat and head south, there should be a small crevice there where the rat would fit. Go back to the Grand Castle and head straight to the Horse Mines.
